Asia Offshore Drilling Limited (“AOD”) is a jack-up rig company with three KFELS Mod V - B Class jack-up rigs being constructed at Keppel FELS Limited in Singapore. The company was established by Mermaid in 2010 with the aim of owning and operating a fleet of modern high specification jack-up rigs. AOD also provides tender rig drilling and subsea engineering services for the offshore oil and gas industry, primarily in Southeast Asia. All the three jack-up rigs are
currently under contract with Saudi Aramco, the largest oil and gas company in the world. The Company is listed in Norway on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
INFRASTRUCTURE
TTA’s strategic objectives include the creation of an integrated logistics business in Vietnam and an integrated coal supply chain. To achieve these objectives, TTA invested in a fertilizer production and distribution company located next door to a deep-sea port in Phu My Industrial Estate in South Vietnam, in which TTA bought a stake in 2010. With its logistics licenses, Thoresen-Vinama Agencies Ltd. coordinates the activities of the port and warehouses to deliver a seamless logistics service to clients. With additional warehouse capacity in 2012, the port activities are expected to increase. TTA also invested in a coal logistics company in Thailand, which means that the Group can mine, ship, and sell coal to end clients in an integrated manner.
